Este viernes se ha celebrado el acto central de la programación del Día Interncional de la Mujer. El Palacio Erisana ha acogido la lectura del manifiesto del 8M por parte del alcalde de Lucena, Aurelio Fernández, y la posterior Gala-Homenaje a 8 mujeres por su trayectoria social y personal, conducido por la edil de Igualdad y Diversidad, Irene Aguilera. 

En esta ocasión han subido a recoger sus reconocimientos el numeroso grupo de coordinadores/as del Área de Igualdad en los centros educativos de Lucena; la bailaora y empresaria Araceli Hidalgo; la doctora Lorena Montero Rivas, internista del hospital “Infanta Margarita" de Cabra; la comerciante Mercedes Jiménez Guerrero, que junto a sus hermanos ha mantenido viva la tienda popularmente conocida como “Los Meaeros”, una de las más antiguas de la ciudad, la joven maga lucentina Inmaculada Quesada “Inmagic", la peluquera y voluntaria social de la Hermandad Barber Angels, Araceli Muñoz Cabrera; la deportista culturista Conchi Algar Luque y la empresaria María Granados Pérez, que ha sabido mantener vivo el legado de la firma Cerámica Granados.
